| The Legend will enable you to know which buildings
are where. There is plenty of walking, so be SURE to wear comfortable shoes and
dress for the weather. In inclement weather, the graduation exercises are held
inside and will need to know your Marine's unit to know which building to go to. In
the case of inclement weather, the family "Welcome Aboard" is held inside the
Depot Lyceum, (lead series), and the Recruit Chapel, (follow series). The Graduation
is held in the Depot Lyceum, (led Series), and the Recruit Chapel (follow series).
The Military Police at the front gate and the Marines at the Visitor's Center will
know by 7:00 AM where the graduation will be held. Any questions or directions
needed while on base, feel free to ask! |
